Take a skilled millwright with a overly developed attention to detail. Have them buy a boat, pull it apart, fully renovate it and turn it into a modern, functional and beautiful liveaboard. This boat is not what you would expect from a 1989 Express Cruiser. The interior is what you would expect from a modern boat built in the last several years.
Everything from new hull and ceiling liner, cabinets, upholstery and appliances to wiring, heaters, AC, lighting, flooring and a pile of other upgrades, this must be seen to be appreciated.
The entire boat has been assessed and everything that could reasonably be replaced has been replaced with something new, and of high quality.
The Crusader 454 engines are solid, durable and a favorite of owners and mechanics for their simple, timeless, mechanical functionality and ability to last in marine environments. With new risers, heat exchangers and fuel lines, all the more expensive items have been taken care of and its ready to go for the next owner.
After renovating the boat the the owner has been living aboard for the last few years and cruising our local waters. They are reluctanly selling this boat as they are moving up in size The current moorage is assumable.

Wow!
An appropriate word to describe the accommodations on this boat. The main living area is bright and inviting and is more like a modern living space that you would find in a new boat. Its clean, easily maintained and functional. The galley is to starboard with modern finishings with a comfortable C-shaped seating area to port with custom made table. There are well placed hatches and port lights for plenty of natural light as well as lots of LED lights to keep dark days feeling bright below.
For sleeping there is a stateroom forward with a queen berth and plenty of storage. Aft, in the main cabin, is another double berth for visitors and family.
The large head has a vanity with sink, vacuflush toilet in separate shower stall.
Drinking Water – Installed EcoPure 3 stage filters for drinking water with a dedicated tap
Waste System – Vacu Flush system has all new waste water and venting hoses replaced. Includes Sanx Level Monitoring System
The 3670 Esprit has lots of exterior space for entertaining. With full canvas cover and cockpit heating its a great 3 season cruiser. The boat is entered via the aft swim grid and the rear cockpit has seating for 6. Forward is the double helm seat and a bucket seat to port. With plenty of seating, sink, bar and cover, its a great boat to spend time on with family and friends.
A functional and modern galley has all you need for preparing meals on the go. New waterpump, fresh water hoses and 3 stage water filter
New EcoPure 3 stage filters for drinking water with a dedicated tap
Water Lines – replaced all soft water lines where accessible
Much like other aspects of this boat, the electrical system was worked through and much of it fully replaced. The ability to stay at anchor for long periods of time is how the current system was designed and installed. A marine electrician helped design and install new solar pannels, solar controller, and battery charger to assure everything is integrated correctly. The entire engine bay was re-wired to assure compliance and safety.
The owner was able to stay at anchor for over 3 months at one point with very little engine running.
Interior and Exterior Lights – all lights have been upgraded and switched to LED with Zone/Mood settings and stair lighting
Exterior Lights – Upgraded hi-wattage bow spot lights and rear tower mounted spot lights
Fishing: Electric Scotty Mount downriggers swivel mounts, Included 2 electric Scotty Down riggers, 2 Trolling Fishing Rods (3 years old)
All Grounding wires have been checked and re-connected
Crusader engines are simple, carbureted, engines with standard ignition systems that are known for their longevity in the marine environment. They don't have sensitive electronic systems that are effected by damp, wet, leaking environments, like a....boat....They are known for their durable and effective cooling system with high quality gaskets that simply last. With minimal electronic controls it doesn't take a computer of specialised tools to do almost all maintenance on these.
These Crusaders have been looked after much like the rest of the boat.
Current moorage is for a 40 ft Slip @ 10.50 p/ft plus tax. Slip is assumable with the purchase of the Boat. Payments to be prorated. Liveaboard friendly marina with access to shower, laundry and bathroom.
